The tenant who WANTS eviction

Tenants

To qualify for housing assistance from their local authority some tenants find that they actually need to be evicted under Section 21.

These tenants are told by local authorities to remain in the property until a Possession Order has been granted and sometimes to remain in the property until a Bailiff has been appointed, regardless of whether or not rent is being paid.

These are often vulnerable people in difficult circumstances. Social housing is under-funded and these tenants are forced by the system to force the landlord to act.

For these tenants, landlords are forced to go to Step2 and sometimes even to Step3.
